At Logue Casings, we are committed to finding innovative solutions to minimize our environmental impact.

In 2023, we made a significant investment of over £250,000 to install a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant. This advancement ensures that all water released from our site meets the stringent specifications set by NI Water.

Furthermore, in our efforts to enhance sustainability, we also installed new machinery that processes our production waste. This initiative enables us to send the waste for anaerobic digestion, allowing us to generate electricity while contributing to a greener future.

Accreditation Approval 

In 2023, we built a new state-of-the-art 5,000 sq ft processing facility onto our existing building. This has allowed us to increase our production to over one million sheep casings per year.

We now have full SALSA approval- Safe and Local Supplier Approval-

SALSA approval is only granted to suppliers who are able to demonstrate to an auditor that they are able to produce and supply safe and legal food and are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard

We are now aiming to achieve full BRC accreditation. In 2023, we proudly unveiled our new state-of-the-art processing facility, spanning an impressive 5,000 square feet, seamlessly integrated with our existing building. This exciting expansion has empowered us to elevate our production capacity, allowing us to produce over one million premium sheep casings each year.
